South Carolina USA Attorney Keeps Sex Toys In Boot
January 8, 2010
According to a recent press report deputy assistant attorney general Roland Corning of South Carolina has been sacked. The story goes, he was relieved of his position after he was found by a police officer in a cemetery. The police officer approached a car parked in a remote area of the cemetery, and Corning sped off. A few blocks later he pulled over.
Reportedly in the car with him was a female 18 year old employee of a local “Gentleman’s Club”. The officer questioned both of them separately and got conflicting stories as to why they were in the cemetery. Apparently Corning tried to pull rank by showing his State Attorney’s Office badge to the officer. The officer still searched the car and found Viagra tablets and sex toys in the boot. Corning told the officer he kept them there just in case!!!!
By close of business the following Monday Corning was no longer employed by the State Attorney’s Office. Attorney General Henry McMaster stated, ”We received credible information about inappropriate behaviour Monday afternoon. And by the close of business, he was no longer working here.’” He went on to say that a cemetery trip like this “‘would not be appropriate, at any time, for an assistant attorney general.’”
