Twilight Star Once Auditioned For Dogging Film
December 23, 2009

Robert Pattinson who plays Edward Cullen in Twilight applied for a role in a Dogging film, but was rejected. The movie, a romantic comedy, was about public sex in Britain. His role would have been a Newcastle-based journalist studying the dogging scene in the U.K.
Quoting a source who is working on the film, “It’s all a bit surreal, to be honest. RPattz is a massive Hollywood Star both Stateside and over here. But two years ago he was still trying to make a name for himself back in the UK. He had a decent role in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire but apart from that he was still casting around for roles. It was not until he landed the role as Edward Cullen in Twilight that his career truly took of, ” the insider added.
“To be honest getting turned down for the main role in Dogging: A Love Story is a bit of a running joke with Rob’s mates. They all think it’s hilarious that he can’t have been any good at dogging.”
