Dita gets ‘em out, again

It’s not really the actions of Ms Von Teese that annoy me, she’s a good looking lass who makes her living as a fancy stripper and made her start in the world of fetish modelling so it’s fair enough that she occasionally indulges in a little sexy posing or soft porn fun to compliment her racy burlesque shows and new life as an edgy fashion muse. She’s always been open about the fact that she deals in the erotic and, to my knowledge, has never tried to hide the less-mainstream areas she’s explored in the past.
What I am bored of, however, is the way that some of the mainstream media jump on every naughty little thing she does, trying to turn anything more salacious then the shake of a nipple tassel into a minor scandal about ‘Dita’s Sordid Past’. Is it really that shocking to imagine that a woman who gets her (rather amazing, I’ll admit) boobs out for a living might sometimes go a little bit further?
The climax of all this tabloid absurdity was the revealing of Dita’s ‘Secret Porn Past’ in The Sun earlier this year. The UK red top got themselves all worked up about the fact that Dita starred in two Andrew Blake porn films, both of which were released about 8 years ago.
It was really no secret to anyone who spent any time at all on Dita’s own website, as she was selling copies of both DVD’s through her own webstore. Hardly the actions of someone ashamed of their time in the adult industry, and hardly secret enough to be worthy of such OTT headlines.
Never ones to stop common sense getting in the way of a bit of hyperbole, The Sun have declared this latest Playboy shoot as Dita’s ’sexiest ever shoot’. Right, so, more sexy than the hardcore girl/girl stuff she’s indulged in, or bondage shoots she’s done for fetish magazines. Ok.
In my opinion, it’s certainly not as hot as this amazing hotel room shoot she did for Blender magazine
Trust me to ruin the simple pleasure of a beautiful women with her tits out though, I really should be less cynical about all this smutty stuff.
